About the rankings

How FindDomains works

FindDomains analyzes newly dropped .com names and ranks them using linguistic quality, backlink history, domain popularity, brandability, startup usefulness and investor potential. Scores are research signals—not guarantees of availability, traffic, trademark safety or resale value.

What is an expired domain?

An expired domain is a previously registered name that was not renewed and may become available for registration again.
Every day we rank domains that are being dropped that day, meaning they become available to public for registration.

How to use FindDomains?

FindDomains allows you to search for domains of interest. At the end of the day, you may attempt to register the domain yourself or assign it to a drop-catching service to pursue on your behalf. Please note that acquisition is not guaranteed: once a domain becomes publicly available, it is subject to a first-come, first-served rule.

Why are some domains hidden?

Paid members can privately hide up to 15 discoveries each calendar month. Hidden names are removed from today’s public list and revealed the next day.

Why Paid members hide domains?

Paid members conceal domains to minimize competition. If visitors cannot view a domain, they cannot pursue it—thereby reducing the likelihood that it is acquired by someone else or placed in an auction.

Are there some other benifit for Paid members?

Paid membership offers additional advantages beyond domain concealment. Members gain full visibility of all domains analyzed daily, whereas non-members are shown only a limited selection. As a result, paid members access approximately 50% more domains each day.
